MISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Curriculum vitae, interview, letter of motivation, various technical and creative videos as well as proof of previous experience in the circus sector, etc. are just some of the things that are required in the preliminary rounds of the evaluation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is where we come in with our mentoring program and offer of targeted support.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the form of lectures, tasks, group exchange, personal feedback and individual mentoring in theory and practice, participants receive tools and assistance from pedagogically trained, competent trainers, choreographers and professional artists.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ziel ist es, am Ende unseres Programms alles in der Hand zu haben, was f\u00fcr die Bewerbungen ben\u00f6tigt wird – fit zu sein f\u00fcr die physischen Tests und alle Dokumente, einschlie\u00dflich CV, Motivationsschreiben, Videos, etc. beisammen zu haben, f\u00fcr gr\u00f6\u00dftm\u00f6gliche Chancen einer erfolgreichen Aufnahme an einer Circusschule.\u00a0<\/p>\n

BACKGROUND & MOTIVATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

The international competition to enter a professional circus school is enormous nowadays and the application process demands a lot from interested circus-students.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

Die Teilnehmer*innen sehen sich mit vielerlei Fragen konfrontiert, wie zum Beispiel:\u00a0 ‚Welche Circusschulen gibt es wo?‘, ‚Bei welcher Schule m\u00f6chte ich mich bewerben?‘, ‚Welche Ausbildung passt zu mir?‘, ‚Wie bereite ich mich effizient auf die Aufnahmepr\u00fcfung vor?‘, ‚Was genau wird verlangt und als Minimum vorausgesetzt?‘, diese und viele weitere Fragen k\u00f6nnen in ihrer Vielzahl und Komplexit\u00e4t oft nicht ohne Weiteres im Alleingang bew\u00e4ltigt werden. Insbesondere wenn man unter Umst\u00e4nden keinen Anschluss und Zugang zu professionellem Know-How und Trainingsm\u00f6glichkeiten hat.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since the opening of the CTC-Salzburg, young people from Austria and other countries have prepared themselves for the entrance exams at professional circus schools and have been successfully admitted to international schools.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Demand and need for feedback and active support in the preparation phase has often existed and, until now, has been supported by guest teachers, MOTA coaches and professionals training at the CTC-Salzburg in their free time. \nIf you ask around at meetings and festivals, there seems to be a great need for support in this area on an international level.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Um m\u00f6glichst vielen Interessierten Zugang zu ‚PREP for APP‘ zu gew\u00e4hren, findet der Basis- Teil im Online- Format statt. Gerade in Gebieten mit wenig Anbindung an die professionelle Szene, k\u00f6nnen internationale Anw\u00e4rter*innen so, auch ohne weite Anreisen, Informationen und Hilfestellungen f\u00fcr die eigene Vorbereitung bekommen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t

Heidrun Neumayer and Carmen Raffaela K\u00fcster are the project managers behind the conception and implementation of the program.
